The Short: The Datrex brand is a much more pleasant and compact option than Mainstay
The Long:
I recently decided to put together a small emergency/disaster supply bag and figured this would make a good addition. I actually ordered both these and the Mainstay brand. Datrex is WAY better. Mainstay was like eating a dense crumbly cake that had the texture of butter once in your mouth. Datrex is more like a coconut flavored gram cracker that somehow doesnt make your thirsty. I'd suggest trying both, but for me Datrex is going in my supply bag, and Mainstay is going in the trash.
